Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics has combined trusted fabrics and adhesives from Chemfab and Furon (makers of brands such as CHEMSTIK® and CHR®) to create a range of high performance pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes for the packaging industry. These tapes are constructed of fiberglass fabric impregnated with pure polytetrafluorethylene (PTFE) and coated with premium adhesive formulated for high temperature operation.
The range also includes tapes with acrylic adhesive, ideal for those applications where non-stick or anti-friction properties are required but extreme heat resistance is not.
